LabCorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Knoxville, TN.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, rotating weekends. 

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testingResearch, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problemsSend test requests to proper location and release test resultsAssist clients with any specimen related requests or inquiresProcess specimens to be sent out to additional facilitiesProvide support to various areas of the laboratoryPerform sample sorting, racking and retrievingPrepare record logs in a timely and efficient mannerMaintain a clean and safe work environment

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred

Comfortability with handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensBasic computer and data entry skillsStrong communication skills; written and verbalAbility to work independently or within a team environmentWell organized and a high level of attention to detailAbility to sit and/or stand for extended periods of timeMust pass a standardized color blindness test
