Job Description
Join a team where precision meets purpose. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/CLS/MLT/MT) to support our hematology department. This role is vital to our commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality diagnostic results that directly impact patient care.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct advanced hematology testing on various body fluids.
+ Ensure accurate and timely analysis of samples.
+ Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
+ Document and report test results accurately.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality laboratory services.
Essential Skills
Candidates must meet one of the following educational and certification requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field with a minimum of one year of experience in hematology
+ Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science
+ Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
+ Active certification as MLT, CLS, MT, or MLS
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with cell differences and CBC
+ Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
+ Thorough understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards
Work Environment
Work within the Hematology Department in a lab setting. Handle high volume samples. Available shifts include Tuesday to Saturday, 12am to 8am or 2am to 10:30am. This is a contract-to-hire role with opportunities for advancement within the organization. The lab environment is dynamic, offering room for growth into lead or supervisory roles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.68 - $36.58/hr.
