Job DescriptionAnalytical and/or testing Independently write, conduct, review, and report scientific inquiriesTroubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain instrumentationAssist with test method development and validation effortsEnsure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsEnsure coverage and performanceFuture employee's will be working with:Process Control, NPRMs LC-CAD Analysis (Sweetener Batch Acceptance Process)Particle SizeStem LengthNIR, pH/OVBalance Verification (Daily)Routine Sample Analyses (CFC, SFC, HLC, and CLC) – oven, pH, NIR, Sympatec and Retsch

Finish CEM and pH (daily)

Finish Sweetener Analysis to include: standard prep., extraction, testing, and maintenance.

Lab Equipment Qualification (documentation and testing)

Production Equipment Wypall sampling.

QualificationsHigh school or BS in Science or Engineering;3-5+  years (high school) or 0-2+ (BS) related experienceAbility to work flexible hours, as needed, with occasional off-shift/weekend workStrong leadership, initiative, and team building skillsExcellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company and client policiesAbility to delegate workflow, as requiredAbility to work overtime/weekendsAbility to work in a hot, dusty environment, lift over 50 lbs, and be standing for more than 50% of the shiftAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
