We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a small microbiology lab specializing in food safety and quality testing. This contract-to-hire position is ideal for candidates looking to expand their lab experience in a relaxed yet fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in sample preparation, pathogen testing, and supporting various microbiological procedures.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process food samples for microbiological analysisConduct pathogen testing using PCR and other lab instrumentsPerform titrations, pipetting, and other analytical techniquesApply aseptic techniques in sterile environmentsAccurately record data and adapt to changing workflowsQualifications

Required:

Hands-on experience with PCR, pipetting, and microbiologyStrong understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile processingHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data entryAbility to work efficiently in a dynamic, client-driven environment

Preferred:

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
