You will utilize your specialized knowledge of engineering disciplines or physical sciences to deliver high-quality results. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Perform Established Tests: Performs established tests or well-defined procedures, organizes data, and knows what degree of care and accuracy is required. This involves operating and adjusting tools and equipment used in job assignments and recognizing proper and improper operation of basic equipment. • Record and Organize Data: Records and organizes technical data and assists in its evaluation, utilizing computers to reduce data and observations. • Operate Equipment: Operates and adjusts tools and equipment used in job assignments, taking corrective action when necessary. • Maintain Accuracy: Ensures a high degree of care and accuracy in all tasks, following written procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, sketches, or oral instructions. • Support Evaluation: Assists in the evaluation of technical data, providing valuable insights to engineers, scientists, or specialists. **Required technical and professional expertise** Successful completion of the IBM Apprenticeship Program Hands-on with tools, safety, and collaboration **Preferred technical and professional experience** Some machine shop experience (mills, lathes, grinders, CNC, water jet) IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
