**Job Title: Laboratory Technician**
**Schedule:** Monday – Friday 8am- 4:30pm
**Pay:** $18.00 per hour
**Location:** Cincinnati, OH
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Laboratory Technician** to support scientific research, product development, quality control, and environmental compliance efforts. In this role, you will conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests on solid, liquid, and gaseous materials, generating accurate data that helps scientists and leadership make informed decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment, values safety, and follows procedures with precision.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to support research, quality control, and environmental standards
+ Optimize laboratory procedures to produce reliable, high-quality results
+ Handle and operate sensitive laboratory equipment to analyze samples and substances
+ Receive, label, prepare, and analyze samples (e.g., blood, tissue, toxic materials)
+ Design and execute laboratory tests following established standard operating procedures
+ Observe, interpret, and document experimental findings accurately
+ Perform experiments under defined conditions to verify or reject hypotheses using accepted scientific methods
+ Organize and store chemicals, substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety regulations
+ Record all data and results clearly and accurately in both paper and electronic formats
+ Maintain laboratory equipment and assist with ordering supplies as needed
+ Strictly follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment
+ Report findings and results to the Laboratory Manager in a timely and responsible manner
**Education & Qualifications**
+ Degree in a related discipline such as **Chemistry, Biology** , or a similar field, **and/or equivalent work experience**
+ Working knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials, and substances
+ Ability to use laboratory instrumentation and tools efficiently
+ Experience with data analysis, statistical calculations, and report preparation
+ Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and compliance requirements

+ Comfortable performing routine, structured tasks with consistency
