**Lab Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to perform routine production duties related to lens production. The role requires a strong focus on quality, quantity, and efficiency, adhering to specified standards and safety regulations. The technician will inspect products for compliance, maintain documentation, and may be cross-trained in additional tasks as needed. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine production duties in lens production while focusing on quality, quantity, and efficiency. + Inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. + Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment. + Maintain appropriate written and/or computer documentation. + Participate in meetings to enhance departmental communication and efficiency. + May be assigned to different workstations or product lines as production needs require. + Train peers as needed. **Essential Skills** + General labor, production, assembly, inspection, and quality control skills. + High School Diploma or equivalent. + 0-2 years of related experience. + Reliable, honest, and dependable. + Ability to follow written or verbal directions. + Customer service mindset. + Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods. + Capability to perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities. + Must be able to regularly lift 10 pounds and exert up to 20 PSI with hands. + Ability to sustain lengthy periods of visual concentration. + Good hand/eye/foot coordination. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task production environment. + Attention to detail and symmetry. + Solid dexterity and mechanical skills. + Patience to fully see tasks through. + Clear, concise communication skills. + Professional demeanor. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General office/computer experience. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a very clean and climate-controlled lab with excellent benefits.
