As a Lab Technician, you will be part of a team that ensures the highest standards of product quality, supporting industries such as automotive, energy, and industrial sectors. Responsibilities + Complete quality tests of magnet wire for specifications, design proposals, R&D, and performance improvements. + Conduct testing on QA and experimental runs, and handle action requests and sample orders. + Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, and lubricants. + Inspect and analyze raw materials and chemical products to ensure specification adherence. + Perform a range of complex tests with precision and attention to detail. + Read, understand, and follow detailed instructions for testing, data entry, and report preparation. + Utilize chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments. + Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and management to analyze and resolve issues. + Engage with computer programs and quality systems, contributing to the quality management system. + Follow all procedures and guidelines to meet quality, safety, and production goals. + Maintain effective communication with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a positive working environment. Essential SkilOur Client + High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred. + 1+ years of experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). + 1+ years of experience in quality control or lab technician roles. + Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques. + Ability to work a 12-hour, 3rd shift schedule. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Working knowledge of computers. + Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS). + High attention to detail, organization skills, and above-average mechanical skills. + Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Work Environment The position operates on a 1st shift schedule with a 2-2-3 pattern, from 8am to 8pm. Training occurs on a 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm for the first four weeks. The work environment is climate-controlled within a brand-new laboratory, offering a cohesive and supportive team dynamic with one-on-one training.
