Job Description
We are seeking a detail-driven and safety-conscious Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for testing, analyzing, and ensuring our frozen treats meet the highest standards in quality, consistency, and flavor. ResponsibilitiesConduct routine microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.Monitor compliance with sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and company specifications.Prepare and maintain records of test results, calibrations, and lab procedures.Assist in shelf-life testing, flavor profiling, and product stability assessments.Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning through regular calibration and upkeep.Support R&D initiatives for new flavor development and ingredient innovation.Communicate effectively with production and quality teams on testing outcomes and potential issues.Essential SkillsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety principles.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing protocols.Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and reporting.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior lab experience in food manufacturing or dairy preferred.Proficiency in chemistry, laboratory work, and biology.Work Environment
The position is based in a laboratory setting where you will be working with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the quality of our products.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
