Lab Technician We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support laboratory operations by performing a variety of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct routine and specialized laboratory testing to ensure product quality and compliance. + Accurately document and communicate test results to the operations team in a timely manner. + Follow established laboratory procedures and standard operating protocols (SOPs). + Assist in evaluating new laboratory equipment and testing methods. + Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including proper chemical disposal and safety checks. + Support the upkeep and calibration of lab instruments, ensuring they remain clean and functional. + Participate in safety initiatives and monthly safety meetings to promote a safe work environment. + Contribute to the plant’s quality culture by upholding high standards in all lab activities. + Assist with emergency response procedures, including making announcements and contacting emergency services when needed. + Be available for overtime and flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, as required. Qualifications: + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred, or a minimum of five years of experience in a quality assurance or analytical lab setting. + Proficiency in algebra and basic mathematical calculations. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. + Strong communication and customer service skills. + A proactive approach to safety and the ability to work independently under pressure. + Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate. + Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
