As a Lab Technician in our Pressure Pumping Service Line, you will have the opportunity to work in supporting our three sub-product service lines including Acidizing, Sand Control, Fracturing, and Cementing.  You will work under supervision of Lab Leads to conduct laboratory testing including necessary checks and operations for equipment used in the laboratory.  Your contribution will support win-win solutions that deliver unmatched value to our customers in providing for safe, flawless execution with top-quality results.  Your efforts will aid to maintain and grow the company’s status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry while increasing market share and profits.

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:

Ability to follow process and procedures to run appropriate lab tests in support of technical service requests.Communicate with supervisor and direct team to provide and discuss lab results.Assist in compiling, analyzing and interpreting results for internal and external customers.Work independently at times and with team to complete projects.Develop and maintain working relationships to communicate effectively with operations, engineering, and sales personnel to utilize all available resources in delivering the best possible solutions to provide flawless execution and top-quality job results.Carry out all required responsibilities safely and as described in standard operations manual.Perform other related duties and handles special projects as assigned.This is an office hours position but must be able to work in a 24/7 service environment if needed

To be successful in this role, you will:

 B.S. Degree (Science)with 1 plus years’ experience or Associate with 3+ years’ experience with laboratory practices Familiar with offshore operations related to well drilling and completion1 plus years’ experience in preparation and presenting lab reportsThis is an office hours position but must be able to work in a 24/7 service environment if neededAbility to use and learn to use software programs for successful execution of applications.Have good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:Lab experience with oil field related operation applications is an added advantage.Broad, in-depth, specialized knowledge and experience with oil field completion and production operations.Technical expertise in products and chemicals used in well drilling and completion applications.Ability to deliver innovative cost-effective solutions.
