**_Temporary_** **Laboratory Technician 1 is being recruited for in the** **_Department of Genome Sciences'_** **Molecular Biology Lab to perform basic laboratory procedures including:**
restocking, sorting and autoclaving laboratory materials - 40%
maintaining stocks and making solutions - 30%
recording data and maintaining laboratory records - 15%
managing a complex lab waste stream - 15%
**Minimum Requirements:**
High school graduation or GED certificate; OR one year’s experience performing routine work cleaning laboratory glassware, materials, or work areas or equivalent.
_Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration._
**Compensation, Benefits and Position Details**
**Pay Range Minimum:**
$21.28 hourly
**Pay Range Maximum:**
$22.28 hourly
