Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Are you a certified phlebotomist that’s tired of the usual 5 day a week outpatient grind? Come join the LST float team at Saint Luke’s and enjoy the perks of working three 12 hour shifts!

We are hiring a full-time Lab Support Technician for our System Float Pool. This position will float between our 4 main hospital locations and give you the opportunity to become proficient in phlebotomy and lab processing by floating as needed based on staffing and patient care needs. Help ensure our vision to be, “The Best Place to Get Care. Shift Details: Full Time Night 6:00pm-6:30am, 3 shifts per week

The Work:

Individuals in this position support the laboratory in several key areas that include phlebotomy and processing.Quality control maintenance of various point of care instruments, patient registration, test ordering, processing of outreach patient specimens, processing of inpatient specimens, specifically directed preparation and record keeping for blood components and various direct client services functionsCandidates with 1 year of Phlebotomy or lab collection experience strongly preferred.
