Job Description

The purpose of this job is to serve as a laboratory support analyst within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities include: 

Support Laboratory bioreactor runs – data monitoring, sampling, sample analysis and bioreactor feedingSupport of key activities in the laboratory such as processing of autoclave and washer loads.Support media preparation activities.Restocking of laboratory consumables and support of 5S in the lab.Perform data reviewKeep up to date with existing and new SOPs and official documentation.Contribute to proper use, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.Perform investigations, where required, for Out-of-Specification Results etc.Perform sample management activities. Coordinate receipt and distribution of samples.Perform other duties as designated by Laboratory Management.  Develop subject matter expertise on processes you perform.Support revision of SOPs or other official documentation and reports, when required.Execute independently assigned projects.

 

QualificationsCurrently completing Science degree. Industrial experience in aseptic techniques is essential, with cell culture a distinct advantageAdditional experience or exposure to, biotech industrial environment is a distinct advantagePractical analytical laboratory experience in a GMP or GLP environment is preferred. High attention to detail and high level of discipline in techniques is requiredAnalytical skills to troubleshoot laboratory issues are an asset.Ability to work well within team structures and provide leadership is required.Good communication is a key skill requirement.

Willingness to work weekends is required. This role involves regular weekend hours as standard
