Responsibilities (Obligation to ensure that the action is taken):

 

Delegate tasks and set deadlines for day-to-day operation for the lab. Monitor team performance and report. Supervising, managing and motivating team members at the lab. Monitor TML tests and routine report. Address customer concerns in reference services rendered and maintain effective communication with customer Operation and Quality team as when required (contactable 24hours). Maintain and achieve the KPI including TAT as set by customer. Establish tasks for team members to ensure a clean workplace, this includes stocking supplies and maintaining clean restrooms and public spaces. Maintain 5S. Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Contact points for sampling team members. Identify training needs and provide training as when required. Oversee and maintain inventory, PPEs, and other supplies as needed. Maintain statutory requirements as per DOE, DOSH. Support to implement laboratory Management system to achieve accreditation of ISO 17025:2017. Follow HSEQ rules and regulations as set by company and customer for sampling and sample preparation. Monitor LIMS operation. To always follow and comply with QHSSE SOP or instruction. To report any unsafe act, unsafe condition, near miss and incident to QHSSE Dept as soon as possible (within 24 hours). To practice STOP WORK AUTHORITY is there is a NECESSITY to do it and report immediately to Director. To maintain and take good care of documents, records, files, office and assets. Perform any other related duties that the higher authority may assign from time to time.

 

Requirements:

Possess Bachelor’s Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering field or equivalent. Minimum two years of working experience in related field. Preferably has exposure /attended training related to laboratory instruments by external training provider. Experience in a laboratory or quality setting, strong knowledge of ISO 17025.   Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English. Able to work in a team.
