Lab Sr. Technician
Overview PepsiCo’s Global Flavor Innovation Team is seeking a Lab Senior Technician to support daily laboratory operations. This role is essential to maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our flavor research lab and is focused on execution. The position is hands-on and task-oriented. Responsibilities Execute flavor innovation and research projects by following experimental designs and preparing flavor and/or beverage samples. Operate laboratory equipment to ensure consistent performance. Maintain inventory of ingredients, supplies, and samples. Support flavor and/or beverage storage studies. Prepare flavor samples for analytical and sensory evaluation. Assist Flavorists with production runs, ingredient handling, and quality checks. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $59,000 - $88,500. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to perform precise bench work and follow protocols. Proven laboratory experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting work and findings. Effective communication skills for team coordination and reporting. Self-motivated and dependable with a proactive approach to assigned tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Education: Desirable AS/BS in a scientific field.
