Lab Sr Technician - Beverages
Overview The PepsiCo beverage Global Scientific Platform team is seeking a senior technician to support interface science research. These research areas cover 100% of our beverage portfolio. Responsibilities Support interfacial science research projects by accurately executing experimental designs, operating laboratory equipment, and preparing beverages and concentrates Maintain laboratory and sample inventory of ingredients and supplies Operate and maintain laboratory equipment Implement and maintain beverage and concentrate storage studies Prepare samples for analytical and sensory evaluation Support Scientists in conducting production runs, managing ingredient orders, handling, ensuring product meets specifications Qualifications AS/BS in a scientific field Ability to flawlessly execute bench work according to experimental designs. Ability to proactively and positively interface with scientists in order to assure timely execution of experiments. Must be well organized, capture work details and learning and highlight any unexpected learning Good communication skills (verbal and written), manage expectations of group support Must be proactive, reliable and self-motivated. Computer Skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $59,000 - $88,500. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
