The Brain Metastasis Program, in collaboration with the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology at the University of Virginia, is seeking a Laboratory Specialist to work on projects investigating the molecular basis and experimental therapies of brain metastasis. The Lab Specialist will work closely with Dr. Camilo Fadul and Dr. Roger Abounader, as well as other members of the Brain Metastasis Program, to perform research that includes cell line and tissue maintenance, tissue culture, molecular biology, functional assays, and animal model-related work. The initial appointment is for one year and can be extended up to three years.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: 2 years of experience. 4 years of lab-related experience accepted in lieu of degree.
