Position Details:
Evening Shift: 4 10-Hour shifts per week with a set pattern schedule, with a rotating weekend and holiday (12pm – 10:30pm)Core Lab Specimen Processing,Lab Processing & Customer Service Dept (Send-outs) Process specimens for inpatient & outpatients In-Office position (non-remote) Receive, process, and distribute laboratory specimens including storage, packaging, and shipping of specimensProvide results to caregiversThis position does NOT perform phlebotomyExperience:

Role Purpose
Performs a variety of pre analytic, analytic and post analytic laboratory duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency, sweat chloride collections, EKG's, etc.Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate.Sorts and processes routine and specific high level specimens received by the lab--including multistep technical processing (i.e. Histology, Microbiology, Cytology, etc.). Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send out tests.Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.Inventory management, equipment cleaning, maintenance, loading, etc.Minimum Requirements
