As a Lab Patient Technician, you will be responsible for the specimen collection process, from greeting patients through to preparation of specimens for transportation. This is an important role in patient care and our business and will let you see the difference that you make in patients’ lives.
Status: Temporary, Part Time
Schedule: Shift times will vary based on operational needs, with no guaranteed hours.
Additional Requirements: The candidate must hold a valid G-class driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle to travel between Markham and Richmond Hill. They must also have flexible availability from Monday to Saturday.

Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent are preferred. Phlebotomy experience is an asset. ECG training or experience is an asset Excellent communication skills. Good computer skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm. Strong customer/patient service with the ability to relate to patients and clients even in stressful situations Strong empathy, flexibility, adaptability to change, and problem solving skills Ability to maintain the strictest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality.
