The Opportunity:Under limited supervision, responsibilities for assisting with facilities and laboratory operations, customer service delivery and environmental health/safety. Serve as a relationship leader to the customer as well as licensees. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.Key Responsibilities Lab Operations & LeadershipManage day-to-day operations across a defined set of laboratoriesAct as the primary contact for lab scientists, ensuring seamless communication and supportLead lab user groups, floor lead meetings, and reference team sessionsCoordinate with FM suppliers to maintain lab efficiency with minimal disruptionInvestigate service deviations and implement corrective actionsProcess & DocumentationDevelop SOPs and working guidelines focused on cost-effective reagent and consumable useOversee training of lab support staff to ensure consistent standardsConduct lab inductions and facilitate visits from internal/external stakeholdersMaintain consumable inventories and report to leadershipEquipment OversightCollaborate with IT and service providers to ensure optimal equipment performanceManage breakdowns, servicing, and maintenance schedulesPerform specialist equipment checks and consolidate fault logsService Delivery & ImprovementDrive efficiency and process improvements across lab operationsMaintain documentation for compliance, training, and service deliveryReport on KPIs, SLAs, and weekly metricsFoster collaboration with FM teams and internal stakeholders Health & Safety (SHE)Support SHE compliance and lead implementation of safety improvementsFacilitate SHE meetings and audits, ensuring documentation and communication are up to date Strategic ImpactIdentify future lab requirements and technological innovationsLiaise with suppliers for demos and training on new equipmentReport cost-saving initiatives and support procurement strategies
