This role operates on a set shift of Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.What You'll Be Doing:Perform routine analysis of specimens in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelinesEvaluate the validity of analytical results using laboratory computer system algorithmsIdentify, document, and escalate unusual results or performance deviationsPrepare buffers and solutions required for laboratory analysisMaintain proper storage of samples and reagents post-analysisSupport development and documentation of laboratory procedures and techniquesEnsure lab organization and cleanliness in alignment with 6S standards
What We Are Looking For:High School Diploma or equivalent or a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology6 months relevant lab experience Req Or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience ReqBasic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory standardsKnowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and analytical techniquesOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Basic understanding of laboratory safety, infection control, and hazardous material handlingStrong attention to detail with ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate documentationEffective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $35,900.00 - $74,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
