Lab Assistant
Job Title: Inventory Specialist - Lab Equipment Job Description We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Specialist to manage physical inventory for onsite lab equipment across three locations in New Jersey. This role involves ensuring accurate tagging and validation of approximately 20,000 assets, requiring a strong attention to detail and adherence to PPE lab protocols. Responsibilities + Conduct physical inventory for all lab equipment, both large and small. + Inventory approximately 20,000 assets across three locations in New Jersey. + Remove old tags from equipment and apply correct new tags. + Use an iPad to validate equipment tagging and placement. + Adhere to PPE lab protocols, ensuring compliance such as no gum chewing. + Ensure precise tagging in the exact same location on each piece of equipment. Essential Skills + Experience working in a lab environment. + Extreme attention to detail. + Proficiency in inventory management and accuracy. + Familiarity with laboratory protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Entry-level college graduates with lab experience or internships. + Lab Technicians. + Strong team player with good communication skills. + Proactive personality and ability to seek help when needed. Work Environment Work in a professional lab setting with strict adherence to PPE protocols. Utilize technology such as iPads for inventory validation. Collaborate with a supportive team and have opportunities for long-term roles and references. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
