Qualifications:
Required: Highschool diploma or GED required
Preferred:
Previous laboratory, medical office, or healthcare experience preferred
Essential Functions:
Specimen processing to ensure acceptability for blood bank testingAssist in gathering and documenting quality control dataMaintain accurate recordsMaintain and monitor for pneumatic tube station when needed for specimen receiptUtilize LIS to review requisitions and submit necessary test or replacement specimenRecord and receive supplies and reagents to inventory and manage storage locationPrepare blood product segment for testingUtilize archive software and computer for record retention per established protocolReport event report using the hospital-based event reporting systemAt RWJBarnabas Health, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees physical, emotional, social, and financial health.
