Responsibilities:

Supervise Lab Technicians, Slurry TechniciansEnsure lab testing, slurry productionEnsure adequacy of related training and quality of tests and inspectionsEnsure adherence to related written procedures and work instructionsMonitor, analyze data, and take action to improve quality and productivity of direct reportsEnsure adequate supply of various related raw materials and completion of required receiving inspectionsConduct employee reviews, counseling, and disciplinary action as neededEnsure communication of material issues and work with quality and engineering to drive resolutionReview and approve quality documentation related to areas of responsibilityAttend and participate in related production meetingsInitiate and implement improvements for departmental safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and organization of related areasEnsure ongoing safe work practices in all related areasEnsure adequate housekeeping and workplace organization based on 6S principles in related areasReport to Quality or Engineering Manager

 

Qualifications:

BS in Engineering or other technical degreePrior experience in supervisionExperience with performing or coordinating testing and inspection
