Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Analyst to join our team within the environmental testing sector. You will play a critical role in conducting analyses on samples, using advanced instruments and adhering to strict laboratory standards.
ResponsibilitiesSafely perform analyses on samples according to company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using advanced instruments.Conduct sample testing using polarized light microscopy.Follow all laboratory QA/QC requirements to ensure data integrity and accuracy.Record data using computer software and programs efficiently.Maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.Perform other assigned duties, as requested by the supervisor.Essential SkillsProficiency in polarized light microscopy, asbestos, and mold testing with at least 2 years of experience.Strong understanding of laboratory quality assurance practices.Bachelor’s Degree in a life science (biology, chemistry, environmental science, etc.) preferred.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of polarized light microscopy (PLM) experience required.Experience in mold testing is a plus.Work Environment
This role is based in a small lab with a total of 5 team members at our Cerritos location, which will be relocating to Cypress by the end of this year. You will be part of a close-knit team consisting of one lab supervisor and three analysts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
