Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with extensive ITOM experience to lead the development and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CMDB, Discovery, Integrations, and related ITOM modules. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, often requiring collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
The role involves designing, developing, and implementing complex ServiceNow ITOM solutions, with a focus on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping. The candidate should have experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules, and will lead the development of integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems. Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions is essential. The role also includes mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance, while ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. A strong emphasis is placed on leveraging out-of-the-box features to minimize customizations, promoting reuse of code, components, and proven design patterns. Responsibilities include performing upgrade testing across ServiceNow releases, maintaining Automated Test Framework (ATF) suites to ensure platform stability, troubleshooting and resolving platform issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for development and configuration activities.
This position pays between $15-20/ hour. Payrate may vary due to experience level

Skills and Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience with a focus on ITOM.
• Strong knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integrations.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Experience with automation and DevOps practices, familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD), code versioning tools such as Git, and Agile principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with AI, Virtual Agent, Robot Process Automation (RPA) • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery
