L1 Data Center Technician (Confidential)
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a sharp team of L1 Data Center Technicians to join an AI cloud platform company sitting in New York state. This is a full-time, permanent role with excellent compensation and benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in data center operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure of our GPU supercomputers, ensuring maximum uptime for our AI customers. This role requires quick response times to on-call requests and offers rapid growth opportunities for motivated individuals who demonstrate strong performance and initiative. Day-to-day responsibilities: - Perform cable management tasks including reseating and swapping network, power, and data cables - Execute server tray swaps and hardware replacements following established procedures - Respond promptly to on-call requests, maintaining aggressive SLA requirements - Document all maintenance activities and hardware changes in tracking systems - Conduct visual inspections to identify potential hardware issues before they impact service We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
