The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager is responsible for driving the training, learning culture, and talent development strategy across the cluster properties. This role ensures all team members are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors aligned with brand standards and company values. The L&D Manager will lead onboarding, leadership development, compliance training, and service culture initiatives to enhance employee performance, engagement, and guest satisfaction.

What will I be doing? 

As the Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

Develop and implement the annual training plan aligned with business goals and brand standards.

Identify training needs through performance reviews, audits, and operational feedback.

Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs (classroom, on-the-job, and e-learning).

Ensure all mandatory and brand-required training programs are completed on time.

Lead and facilitate new hire orientation programs for all cluster properties.

Ensure smooth onboarding experience and effective integration into the company culture.

Monitor and enhance onboarding effectiveness and retention outcomes.

Drive leadership development initiatives for supervisors, managers, and high-potential team members.

Support succession planning and career development pathways.

Coach department heads and managers on people development and performance management.

Champion brand standards and service excellence initiatives across all properties.

Deliver customer service training aligned with Hilton brand expectations.

Conduct training related to guest experience, quality assurance, and operational excellence.

Ensure compliance with all required training (e.g., health & safety, food hygiene, harassment prevention).

Maintain accurate training records and reports for audits and compliance reviews.

Coordinate certifications and regulatory training requirements.

Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.

Track key training KPIs such as completion rates, training hours, and impact on business results.

Continuously improve programs based on data and feedback.

Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure accurate data tracking.

Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and documentation.

Prepare regular training reports for management review.

Support employee engagement initiatives through learning programs and activities.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and development across the cluster.

Work closely with HR, department heads, and property leadership teams.

Partner with regional/corporate L&D teams to align with global initiatives.

Coordinate with external training providers when necessary.

What are we looking for? 

A Learning & Development Manager, serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training, preferably in hospitality.

Experience managing training across multiple properties or units is highly preferred.

Familiarity with Hilton brand standards or international hotel brands is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.

Strong presentation and facilitation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels

Strong organizational and project management skills

Analytical mindset with ability to measure training effectiveness

Proficiency in LMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools
