JLL Capital Markets Group has launched a global development program for Analysts in Capital Markets and Valuers in Value and Risk Advisory.

The program aims to ensure all eligible global participants achieve a consistent knowledge base, enabling seamless talent mobility across regions. By embedding the program into workflows and partnering with senior leaders, we reduce the training task for producers, allowing them to focus on client relationships. The initiative fosters a stronger sense of community and engagement within CMG, driving higher employee satisfaction and improved teamwork. The Level 1 Learning Path is currently live and ongoing across all regions, while Levels 2 and 3 are in development.

 

The L&D Manager will oversee the global design, delivery, and evolution of the Capital Markets Group Development Program, and influence decisions around early career development. They will collaborate extensively with executive sponsors, challenger groups, HR and Operations Partners to ensure program alignment with business goals.

 

The ideal candidate will:

Combine strong operational, project management and design capabilities with strategic thinking and stakeholder management across multiple geographies

Have a keen understanding of the Capital Markets (analyst role) and Value and Risk Advisory business to make recommendations on content and curriculum building that are relevant and suitable to the global business

Have at least 5 years of experience working in a global, matrixed environment, delivering large L&D programs and driving positive outcomes for the business

Prior experience working on early career development and or training and development is desirable

Previous experience in investment banking or management consulting is a plus

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

Program Development and Management

Help to develop and articulate a long-term strategic vision and business as usual plan for the CMG Development Program that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives

Proactively identify and anticipate business needs for analyst development, considering future skill requirements and changes in industry trends

Lead the maintenance of a global analyst training curriculum that reflects industry best practices, market demands, and future trends within CMG

Lead curriculum design and development, ensuring that training modules equip analysts with the critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic skills needed to become high-performing producers

Work with our L&D Team to design and develop engaging training materials, resources, and activities that cater to different learning styles and achieve desired program outcomes

Implement project management best practices, developing a comprehensive project plan, monitoring progress, and addressing any deviations from the plan

Ensure the training program prepares analysts for a smooth transition into production roles, supporting the goal of moving analysts into production faster

Drive global rollout and ongoing delivery of standard learning pathways across CMG

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, regional partners, and other key stakeholders to drive engagement of the CMG Development Program in key geographies

Connect with stakeholders regularly to gain insights into their unique requirements and expectations, ensuring alignment and customization of the program to meet diverse regional needs while maintaining a cohesive global framework

Engage and influence senior stakeholders (executives, COOs, producers, HR partners) to ensure global alignment, adoption, and completion of program objectives in all regions

Responsible for any change requirements related to the program and work with Comms to ensure appropriate messaging

Foster an environment of collaboration and partnership to secure organizational support and resources for program enhancements and expansion

 

Data-Driven Decision Making and Continuous Improvement

Develop evaluation methods and criteria to assess the effectiveness and impact of the program

Implement a data management system to track and analyze program data, including participant feedback, performance metrics, and career progression outcomes

Continuously assess program impact, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement evidence-based strategies to enhance the program's outcomes and its alignment with business objectives

Regularly report program metrics and insights to stakeholders, showcasing achievements, and identifying areas for further development

 

Strategic Partnerships and Talent Pipeline Development

Work with our early careers Talent Acquisition team to foster strategic partnerships with external organizations, universities, industry associations, and thought leaders to enhance the CMG Development Program and tap into diverse talent pools

 

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in the commercial real estate industry

Expert in stakeholder management and relationship building

Outstanding emotionally intelligent communicator who can engage, influence and inspire audiences

Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation

Proven program manager with ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines with experience delivering large programs across a global matrixed environment

Self-directed ambitious professional who thrives both independently and in team settings

Resourceful problem solver with a solution-oriented approach

Deep knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories

Track record of creating engaging, interactive learning programs and materials

Proficient in the use of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
