Job DescriptionOverview We are seeking a Derivatives Onboarding Specialist to join our Global Derivatives Onboarding (GDO) team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on onboarding experience within investment banking or capital markets and is skilled in navigating complex regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, client‑focused completion of derivative reviews for GBM clients and supports broader onboarding and risk‑management initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal partners and engage directly with clients to complete regulatory documentation, resolve onboarding challenges, and maintain compliance with internal and external requirements. Key Responsibilities + Ensure compliance with all derivative regulatory obligations and internal risk standards during client onboarding, periodic refresh cycles, and ad‑hoc reviews. + Guide clients through the process of meeting derivative regulatory requirements. + Collaborate independently and cross‑functionally with Front Office, Credit, Margin, Documentation, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and KYC teams to fulfill regulatory obligations. + Serve as a derivatives subject‑matter expert to the onboarding team and internal stakeholders. + Support the end‑to‑end review of derivative clients, escalating complex issues to management as needed. + Maintain accurate client data across internal systems (e.g., Fenergo). + Conduct exception management, reconciliations, and cross‑system data analysis to ensure accurate downstream regulatory reporting. + Promote a client‑centric culture and contribute to enhancing client relationships across the Bank. + Identify opportunities to align derivatives onboarding with other remediation, onboarding/offboarding, or periodic review initiatives. + Recommend process enhancements to strengthen controls, service quality, and efficiency. + Prepare status updates and periodic reports for internal stakeholders. + Perform ad‑hoc data analytics and support various GBMO projects, testing efforts, and regulatory requests. + Contribute to a high‑performance, inclusive team environment. + Demonstrate sound risk awareness and incorporate the Bank’s risk appetite into day‑to‑day decision‑making.
