Overview Korea Foods Supply Chain Manager is primarily responsible for building strong partnerships with co-manufacturers in Korea, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring delivery of all service-level KPIs to both local and export markets. In addition, the manager is accountable for ensuring finished goods and packaging meet company standards, leading innovation projects, and providing local support in Quality assurance and SRA compliance. Responsibilities What you are responsible for: Supply Chain & Co-Man Management Build and maintain strong partnerships with co-manufacturers in Korea, overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure production, quality, and service KPIs are consistently met. Drive service performance with a target of at least 95% service level across all co-man. Consolidate and process orders, monitor fulfillment, and track forecast accuracy to support reliable supply execution. Partner with market supply chain teams to review forecasts, assess risks, and develop contingency plans to safeguard supply. Coordinate supply planning for key raw ingredients and packaging materials with co-man to maintain healthy buffer levels and avoid production disruptions. Participate in strategic capacity planning to ensure plants have sufficient capability to support business growth. Ensure supplier reliability by resolving operational issues promptly and developing sustainable solutions to disputes or disruptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (GP, R&D, Marketing, etc.) on productivity and improvement initiatives, including supplier qualification and product trials. Lead vendor development and provide end-to-end support for commercialization, covering volume, pricing, timelines, supply chain management, manufacturing processes, raw material specifications, customs clearance, tariffs, and regulatory compliance. Oversee the potential setup of new co-man in line with PepsiCo’s Co-Man Process, including risk assessments, pre-screening, audits, product qualification, compliance verification, approvals, and performance management. Innovation / Project Management Collaborate with the commercialization team to drive innovation projects and deliver timely, successful launches. Collaborate with PD on commercial runs of new products, validating manufacturing processes and ensuring prototype and field-ready samples meet standards. Coordinate line extension projects in collaboration with regional teams. Negotiate with co-man and suppliers on minimum runs, lead times, and coordinate required documentation for product registration. Lead the execution of new artwork development, communicating material run-down plans with suppliers, co-man, and meet timelines while minimizing material write-offs. Liaise among co-man, logistic team, and forwarders to select the most appropriate vessel for shipments, balancing lead time, cost, and special requirements. Drive continuous process improvements with co-man and key vendors to shorten timelines, eliminate non-value-added activities, and accelerate project delivery. Food Safety – Partner with QC Lead to ensure compliance with PepsiCo Food Safety Programs by: Monitoring implementation of standards such as HACCP, PEM, Allergen, IPM, AIB and FSM at partner plants. Supporting plants with training, pre-audits, and AIB readiness. Coordinating rollout of new food safety programs and audits. Leading onsite coordination with plants/distributors on food safety incidents and complaints. Managing SQA steps (risk assessment, audits, approvals, performance management) for supplier and new co-man qualification. Quality – Partner with QC Lead to drive quality agenda at plants and distributors by: Monitoring quality performance, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions. Engaging regional/sector experts for technical support on quality issues. Ensuring full product traceability across the supply chain with annual testing. Improving lab analysis capability through training and support. Coordinating implementation of new PepsiCo quality programs and audits at partner plants. Provide support for Regulatory Affairs (SRA) – Korea Overseeing compliance with domestic and international food laws, working closely with customs brokers and relevant government agencies. Ensuring compliance with Korean food import regulations, including MFDS import declarations and food labeling standards. Acting as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and inspection bodies such as MFDS, QIA, and third-party testing laboratories. Ensure regulatory standards are embedded into commercialization, innovation, and quality programs. Qualifications What you will need to have: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline related to Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Food Science & Technology. Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in food operations, including supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and demand/supply planning. Strong knowledge of Korea Food Act and related regulatory requirements, particularly in supply chain management. Experience in quality and food safety audits (HACCP, ISO, AIB). Native Korean speaker with business fluency in English (written and spoken). Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills. Logical thinker with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness. Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and in a global environment. Good understanding of trade and tariff agreements. Proficiency in digital and analytical tools; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
