Knowledge Base Modernization Intern, Summer 2026
**Job Description** We are looking for a summer intern to assist in modernizing our knowledge base articles in ServiceNow, making them searchable by our chatbot. The successful candidate will work closely with document owners to validate articles, reformat documents in ServiceNow, and ensure that they meet our quality and accessibility standards. Responsibilities: + Collaborate with document owners to validate knowledge base articles for accuracy and relevance + Reformat and restructure articles in ServiceNow to improve searchability and readability + Ensure that articles are optimized for our chatbot, using relevant keywords and metadata + Work with the knowledge management team to develop and implement a consistent formatting style for knowledge base articles + Assist in testing and quality assurance of reformatted articles + Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the knowledge base and chatbot experience What We Offer: + Opportunity to work on a high-impact project with a talented team + Professional development and networking opportunities + Access to cutting-edge technology and tools **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Requirements: + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program as a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Excellent communication and collaboration skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Nice to Have: + Experience with chatbot integration or natural language processing (NLP) + Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar knowledge management platforms + Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) or document management systems (DMS) **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $44724 - $60326 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
