Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient kitchen & laundry technician to join our team in Ras El Hekma, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring smooth operations in both areas.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, and refrigerators Manage laundry operations, including washing machines, dryers, and folding equipment Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on kitchen and laundry equipment Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns Implement and maintain cleaning and sanitation procedures in both kitchen and laundry areas Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment parts Coordinate with external technicians for major repairs when necessary Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in both kitchen and laundry facilities Assist in training staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or institutional setting Proficiency in operating and maintaining various kitchen and laundry equipment Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet Excellent time management and organizational skills Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Relevant technical certifications in equipment maintenance (preferred) Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Additional information What's in it for you Lots of opportunity to progress and switch it up as part of a global family of brands.
