Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, Glucerna® – to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life. **Job Purpose** The Key account Specialist is responsible for handling the most important customer accounts in a company. These accounts make up the highest percentage of company income, and the key account specialist must build and maintain a strong relationship with the customer. They will be the lead point of contact for all key matters, anticipate the customer’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the customer are met, and help the customer succeed. The key account specialist will also bring in new business from existing customers or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential customers Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements **What You'll work on** + Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with key accounts to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives + Developing a complete understanding of key account needs + Anticipating key account changes and improvements + Resolving key accounts issues and complaints + Managing communications between key accounts and internal teams + Strategic planning to improve accounts results + Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the accounts + Working with sales team, advertising, logistics, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same accounts to ensure the highest quality of service are being delivered and all accounts needs met in a timely manner + Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling + Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training + Analyzing accounts data to provide customer relationship management + Gather, report and communicate customers' feedback on service, technology and product delivery + Measure, track and analyze key account metrics + Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices + Effectively Plan & Execute Direct to Consumer Activities at KA’s – placement of In-store promoters, Display and Merchandising, Primary & Secondary Placements, Gondola & POSM Placements etc. + Develop solutions to resolve claims or specific issues raised by the KA’s. + Regularly track the execution of KAP and impact of activities and performance of Abbott @ KA, forecasting, stock management & DOH Management at each KA, measure ROI and monitor financial viability of the KA. **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor degree of Pharmaceutical, Vet, Dentistry or Medical are required 5 years relevant experience in Kuwait Strong track record and relevant KAM experience Strong negotiation and analytical skills Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
