About The Role
As a Key Account Representative, you will be responsible for managing your assigned Paper and Pulp accounts with a high level of ownership and accountability. Your role will include conducting laboratory testing, overseeing inventory management, performing equipment checks and basic maintenance, preparing detailed service reports, and maintaining clear and effective communication with customers, the sales team, and internal departments.
What you’ll do
Testing & Monitoring: Sample and test process tanks, record results, and ensure accurate data entry. Check dosing and monitoring equipment weekly, clean and recalibrate as required.Operational Support: Reprogram and recalibrate equipment, maintain high standards of housekeeping and record keeping, and provide timely weekly/monthly reports.Customer & Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, support trials, and ensure programs meet design parameters and performance goals.Technical Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of Solenis chemistry, conduct lab evaluations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to business growth.About you:
We are looking for a hands-on, adaptable professional who thrives in a highly technical setting. You’ll need:
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage workload with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive tasksProficient in MS Office and general computer literacyMechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenanceComfortable working at heights and in confined spacesDemonstrates safe work practices and hazard awarenessEffective verbal communication and collaboration with colleagues and customersWillingness to travel as neededValid driver’s license, forklift license, and confined spaces certificationDegree in Chemistry or Science (preferred)Experience in the Pulp & Paper industry (highly regarded)About Solenis
