Accountabilities
Represent AstraZeneca’s standards and values in all external interactionsProactively identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the managed portfolioDevelop and implement account strategies and business concepts aligned with account needs, including defining objectives, milestones, and measuresPrepare and execute account plans, ensuring all activities comply with internal and external codes and regulationsIdentify, build, and further develop network structures (physicians, patients, diagnostics, etc.)Forge strategic partnerships and provide support to key stakeholders in hospitals and private practicesConduct highly scientific, customer- and patient-focused discussionsDeliver internal and/or external specialist presentations as requiredEngage in continuous development in science, sales, and systemsCollaborate cross-functionally with Franchise Leads, field colleagues, brand teams, and patient safetyShare market insights to help drive marketing, sales, and medical excellenceMentor colleagues as appropriateComplete monthly reports, including competitive analysis and intelligencePerform segmentation and targeting activitiesPlan, manage, and take responsibility for budgetsEssential Skills/Experience
Pharmareferent exam or scientific degree in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, or veterinary medicineExcellent planning, management, and presentation abilitiesProficient with CRM systems and MS OfficeStrong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skillsCustomer focus, teamwork, and results-driven mindsetOutstanding selling and negotiation abilitiesConfident, resilient, and flexible approachFluent English and German (spoken and written)Category B driving licenseHigh motivation, attention to detail, able to perform under pressureDesirable Skills:
Knowledge of Austrian pharmaceutical and healthcare market; hospital experience will be preferredProven sales, key account management, and negotiation skillsAdvanced product and therapy expertiseWe offer:
