Our client is a growing international player of food fmcg arena (fish and seafood products). Their friendly and growing team in Budapest is looking for a Key Account Manager to significantly grow listed local portfolio and to build new accounts.

 

 

Main tasks:

Work directly with the management team to set and implement the retail sales strategy, allowing the company to maintain and improve its brand and reputation within the retail landscape; Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients; Negotiate pricing and promotional activities; Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits; Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs; Identify and grow opportunities within assigned accounts; Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and industry developments to adjust strategies accordingly; Provide timely and accurate reporting on key account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.

 

Requirements:

Relevant degree; 3+ years of experience in fmcg commercial roles, some in a KAM role; Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities; Experience in developing business cases and sales forecasting; Strong negotiation, influencing skills, customer focused approach; Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data; Strong organizational and time management skills; Proactive and self-motivated, result driven approach; Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment; Industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics; Good English is a must.
