We are now looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales team and support pharmaceutical clients in their growth strategies by leveraging IQVIA’s data assets and services.

Role Summary:

As a Key Account Manager, you will build and nurture client relationships, drive revenue growth, and identify new business opportunities across your assigned accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for strategic clients, ensuring they maximize the value of IQVIA’s solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Business Understanding

Build, strengthen, and expand relationships across client organizations.Promote IQVIA products and services to achieve revenue targets.Develop a deep understanding of client priorities and translate them into actionable business opportunities.Create and execute strategic account plans.Act as a trusted advisor on marketing, market research, sales management, industry trends, and IQVIA capabilities.

Commercial & Operational Excellence

Manage contract renewals, subscriptions, and commercial performance metrics.Oversee internal and external financial processes (rebates, invoicing, accounts receivable, DSO).Maintain visibility on pipeline, recent wins, and strategic opportunities (keeping CRM systems updated with opportunities, activities, and account plans).Ensure high levels of client satisfaction in partnership with Client Service teams.

Strategic Client Development

Shape client perception by sharing relevant marketing materials and thought leadership.Facilitate peer-to-peer engagement by connecting clients with relevant IQVIA experts.Identify innovation opportunities aligned with client priorities and IQVIA’s strategic direction.Contribute to the broader Sales & Account Management community by sharing insights and best practices.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Consulting and/or Business Development within similar organizationsPrevious experience in pharma/healthcare sector will be considered a plusStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term business relationships.Proven negotiation and influencing capabilities.Demonstrated proactivity and ability to identify and convert opportunities.Solid understanding of the pharma business model and life sciences commercial strategy.Experience working successfully in a matrixed organization.Excellent customer service mindset and ability to translate client needs into solutions.Strong judgment and decision-making skills.Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Management, Pharmacy or related field.Fluency in English and Portuguese
