Key Account Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

To sell all products within an assigned geographical territory, maintain and generate new business and promote products/programs to ensure maximum distribution/market penetration of Hikma products while achieving corporate goals and objectives. 

Day- to-day operations

Supervises the day-to-day operations of Commercial section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Identifies marketplace trends and communicates them to the sales team, in order to capitalize on sales opportunities. Prepares and utilizes sales tools and product knowledge, to maximize effective customer presentations and identify and meet customer needs.  Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance, to provide a market-leading service level to customers.  Develops current and new account relationships, to increases sales in assigned territory and develop new business opportunities.  Launches new products and programs, in order to achieve quarterly and annual territory sales goals.  Consults with new and existing customers, to address their product needs and explore marketplace conditions. Generates and expands support for the product portfolio through selling techniques, to continuously identify and resolve problems with the accounts while ensuring a long-term relationship.    Conducts research and builds a strong customer base, in order to find new business opportunities and support sales objectives.  Monitors industry conditions for changes that impact business, while working with customer operations, to ensure accurate and efficient order processing. Manages and assists in the resolution of customer issues, in order to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field. Master’s degree in science is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

3–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 1 year in territory/account management.
