Key Responsibilities
Acquire new retail clients and grow the modern trade client base in Romania
Lead negotiations, business planning, and commercial strategy with key accounts
Manage listings, pricing, promotions, and shelf space agreements
Build long-term relationships with modern trade partners
Identify opportunities to introduce new products and increase market penetration
Monitor sales performance and profitability by client
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth execution
Stay up to date with market trends, retail dynamics, and competitor activity
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in modern trade account management
Proven success in acquiring and developing new retail clients
Strong knowledge of the Romanian retail landscape (Carrefour, Lidl, Kaufland, Profi, etc.)
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Data-driven, result-oriented, and entrepreneurial
Romanian and English – professional working proficiency
Availability to travel as required
