Here, you will make an impact by: + _Building and expanding executive-level relationships within large industrial companies, with a strong focus on metalworking_ + _Leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales projects from discovery to deployment and post-sale value realization_ + _Orchestrating 3M resources (Applications Engineers, Technical Specialists, Marketing, and Sales Agents) to design high-impact solutions for strategic end customers_ + _Partnering with authorized 3M Abrasives distributors to create joint account plans and deliver sustainable growth_ + _Developing new business with industrial automation and robotics OEMs/integrators to accelerate adoption of advanced abrasive solutions_ + _Working closely with the 3M Abrasives Division team to translate customer needs into technical applications and quantifiable outcomes (quality, throughput, cost, safety)_ **Your Skills and Expertise** To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: + _Strong project-management capabilities: ability to scope, plan, execute, and track results_ + _Proven experience with complex/consultative B2B sales: skilled at engaging decision-makers, coordinating all project phases (including technical trials and procurement), and maintaining long-term, value-based relationships after the sale_ + _Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with stakeholders at both end customers and distributors_ + _Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience_ + _Previous sales experience_ + _Good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)_ Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + _Knowledge of abrasive applications, welding processes, and industrial robotics/automation (preferred)_ + _Proficiency with productivity and CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, CRM platforms)_ + _Confident public speaking and executive presentation skills_ **Job specifics:** + _Primary activity in Northern Italy, with short trips to Central and Southern Italy._ + _Ideal candidate location is Northern Italy, preferably near 3M Italy HQ in Pioltello_ + _Travel: up to 70% within territory.
