Reporting to: Key Account Manager
Key Account Associate
You will be supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of channel and brand strategies to achieve volume and profitability targets across assigned key accounts, including CVS, petrol and supermarket channel customers.
As a Key Account Associate, you will be responsible for:
KPIs and budget management - sets clear objectives for each assigned account to support JTI sales and commercial targets, monitors contract performance to improve profitability, maintains and updates commercial terms based on client performance and market conditions, and manages channel budgets with a strong focus on accuracy, control, and ROI maximization. KA contracts - supports investment proposals for key accounts aligned with strategic priorities and P&L analysis, ensuring follow-through on the implementation of agreed contract terms; coordinates internal stakeholders to guarantee all contracts meet JTI requirements and mitigate potential risks; and monitors contract execution to ensure full compliance throughout the contract period. KA daily operations planning and compliance management - supports demand forecasting for assigned key accounts to ensure accurate planning, manages and monitors customer credit allocations in coordination with Finance to safeguard cash flow, collaborates with operations teams to execute operational plans and ensure adherence to contractual requirements, and coordinates internal and external resources to implement, track, and optimize contractual benefits, including merchandising, activations, and KA program execution. Trade & Consumer engagement programs - supports and formulates shop-level engagement and consumer programs that align customer needs with JTI commercial strategies to drive volume, share, and visibility; collaborates with Trade Marketing and Commercial Planning to develop and execute Trade Loyalty initiatives and customized digital/app-based solutions for assigned accounts; and tracks program performance, analyzes results, and monitors ROI to ensure continuous improvement. Stakeholder Management - builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, ensuring smooth coordination across internal functions to support business development; supports and participates in regular business reviews to align stakeholders on objectives, performance, and required actions; and tracks competitive activity within assigned accounts to help develop appropriate response strategies. Others - gathers data and prepares concise reports for management and relevant internal stakeholders; executes additional tasks assigned by the direct manager in alignment with role scope and expertise; and adheres to all health and safety policies and operational requirements
Requirements:
Relevant experience preferably 2+ years in FMCG industry in Hong Kong & Macau markets. CVS management experience is a value-added but not a must. Knowledge of category management or B2B management, channel management (Planning & P&L proposals), and Customer Management Analytical and category data synthesis skills (financials, volumes) Good communication, sales, and negotiation skills Good planning and organization skills University degree in Business Administration/ Marketing or equivalent Fluent in Cantonese oral and written, with good English speaking, listening and writing
