Position: Animal Care Attendant (Kennel Assistant)
Location: Centreville, VA
Weekend and Holiday Availability Required

Are you passionate about animals and dedicated to providing top-notch care? VCA Centreville Animal Hospital is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Animal Care Attendant to join our team!

As an Animal Care Attendant, you'll play a vital role in the daily care and comfort of our boarded and hospitalized pets. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong work ethic, and shares our commitment to exceptional service and animal care.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Feeding and caring for dogs and cats

Walking and bathing dogs

Cleaning kennels, cages, and hospital premises

Doing laundry and maintaining a clean, organized facility

Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in animal care preferred

Must be dependable and able to work weekends and holidays

Comfortable working around animals of all sizes and temperaments

Ability to work well in a team and independently
