K–8 Math & ELA TutorCarlsbad & Oceanside, CA | After-School Hours  We are seeking a caring and reliable K–8 Tutor to provide support in Math and English Language Arts for students in the Carlsbad and Oceanside areas. This is an in-person tutoring role during the after-school window, ideally between 3–5pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for teachers, substitute teachers, student teachers, and education majors who want flexible hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact outside of the classroom. What You’ll Do * Provide one-on-one tutoring in Math and ELA for students in grades K–8 * Reinforce classroom concepts and strengthen foundational skills * Adapt instruction to meet each student’s unique learning style and needs * Encourage student confidence and a positive approach to learning * Communicate progress and strategies with families and our team What We’re Looking For * Strong knowledge of K–8 Math and English Language Arts * Tutoring or teaching experience preferred * Patient, supportive, and encouraging teaching style * Reliable, professional, and punctual * Must have reliable transportation to travel to student homes in Carlsbad and Oceanside * Availability between 3–5pm on weekdays preferred  Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree (or working toward one) in education or related field preferred * Experience tutoring or teaching elementary and middle school students a plus * Strong communication skills with students and parents Compensation & Benefits * Competitive hourly pay  * Flexible scheduling within the after-school window * Opportunity for consistent weekly sessions * Ongoing support and resources from our office team Why Join Us?
