K-8 Resource Special Education TeacherLocation: Maricopa, AZ Pay Rate: $48–$50 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM Contract Duration: ASAP start through May 2026 (remainder of the 2025–2026 school year) Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional services to students in grades K–8. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will deliver individualized instruction, collaborate with general education staff, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. This role requires flexibility across grade levels and the ability to support students in resource settings, with occasional self-contained instruction as needed. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. + Provide specialized instruction and tutorial assistance in resource settings. + Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support inclusion and student success. + Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district requirements. + Participate in team planning and student progress meetings.
