\nARServices is seeking a Junior Technical Writing/Editing Specialist to work in the Albuquerque, NM area.
\nThe Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Nuclear Enterprise Directorate, Nuclear Logistics & Operations Department (NE-NL), subsequently referred to as DTRA NE-NL, ensures the safety and reliability of the nation’s nuclear stockpile, supporting DoD functions in nuclear weapons accountability and oversight. The Junior Technical Writing/Editing Specialist will support DTRA NE-NL with mission-focused requirements involving administrative and technical support for the NE-NL Nuclear Operations Division, Stockpile Operations Branch (NE-NLOS).

\nA qualified candidate’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\n\tProviding technical writing and editing expertise. \n\tAdhering to the requirements in the Government Printing Office Style Manual, JNWPS Continuity Book, and Technical Publication 1-1.\n\tDrafting and editing publications to be included in JNWPS.\n\tProviding draft publications for the Comment and Review, Consolidating Comments, and Final Product Review processes.\n\tAssisting in the resolution of issues with JNWPS content.\n\tWorking effectively with JNWPS management in the completion of work assignments.\n\tProviding project officer(s) the necessary assistance during the Comment and Review, Consolidating Comments, and Final Product Review processes.\n\tCreating and providing in house documentation such as checklists, various logs (e.g., SIPR, DIAMONDS, and Customer Conversation logs), and quality assurance checks.\n\tUploading technical publications in DIAMONDS.\n\tPreparing, reproducing, distributing, and tracking media products.\n\tInterfacing and coordinating with JNWPS counterparts at organizations both inside and outside DTRA.\n\tInitiating and updating reference and “How to...” materials; documenting conversations when requested.\n\tSubmitting trouble tickets when required/requested.\n\tProviding editorial support for meetings and correspondence assignments.\n\tConducting CD burn and distribution requirements via ARL Safe.\n\tMaintaining Publication Requirement Table for all accounts.\n\tMaintaining Technical Publication tracking system.\n\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:
\nActive/current Secret clearance is required.
