A structural engineering firm in Boise, ID is currently hiring for a Junior Structural Engineer.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Boise, ID. This role is ideal for a someone with a bachelor’s degree in engineering who is eager to grow in the structural engineering field. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Boise area.

Pay – $57,000–$73,000/year (Depending on experience, education, software proficiency, and relevant internships or coursework)

Location – Boise, ID (Onsite)

Schedule – Standard Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

ResponsibilitiesSupport Sr. engineers in performing structural evaluations and design tasks for new and existing projects.Assist in drafting technical reports, design documentation, and construction drawings.Participate in site visits, inspections, and project meetings to gain practical field experience.Learn and apply structural codes, standards, and materials under the guidance of sr. staff.Engage in continuous learning through on-the-job training and professional development initiatives.Qualification RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.E.I. certification or eligibility to obtain it.Familiarity with structural design tools such as RISA, Revit, or similar software.Strong interest in structural engineering and a proactive attitude toward learning.Prior experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or component design (internships or coursework) is a plus.DisqualifiersNo engineering degree.No interest in pursuing E.I. certification.No exposure to structural design software.Lack of interest in fieldwork or hands-on learning.Employee Value PropositionExcellent opportunity for recent graduates to launch their career in structural engineering.Hands-on mentorship from experienced engineers.Exposure to a wide range of project types and design challenges.Benefits include competitive salary, health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development support.
