Procter & Gamble is looking for a skilled and innovative SQL Software Developer to join our dynamic development team.
As a junior SQL Software Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Query Writing and Optimization: Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.Database Maintenance: Perform routine tasks like backups, data quality checks, and performance monitoring.Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve database issues, working under the guidance of senior developers.Documentation: Maintain documentation of database structures, processes, and procedures.Collaborate with product managers & business partners to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive web applications.Optimize applications for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality.Working within Databricks & Microsoft Azure Cloud environmentsMaintaining code integrity and organization, including data security and privacy compliance.Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Learning and Growth: Continuously learn and improve SQL programming skills, seeking guidance, and mentoring as needed.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and implement robust software solutions.Becoming part of P&G, you will benefit of:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, EngineeringExposure to SQL programming and database management, including T-SQL.A first experience with / use of C# .NETUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)Learning Aptitude: Enthusiasm for continuous learning and growth in the field of SQL development.Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality and well-structured codeUnderstanding of the full software development life cycle, particularly in an Agile Dev/OpsFamiliarity with code management (GitHub) and testing frameworks (e.g. Snyk)ABOUT US:
