Junior SESA Engineer

Overview

We are currently recruiting a Junior SESA Engineer to work on a portfolio of transport projects across the east coast. The company has a history of working on some of the country’s most prestigious, city-shaping rail and infrastructure projects such as Digital Systems, Sydney Metro and many others. You will be afforded the opportunity to work both on delivery and client-side on various rail programs and will receive some of the best training available, working with one of Australia’s most experienced SESA teams.

You can be an engineer that focuses particularly on Safety Assurance, Systems Engineering or a combination of both.

Location-          Sydney or Brisbane

Duration-           Permanent, Monday-Friday

Salary-              $100,000 - $130,000 + Super

Responsibilities

Producing works associated with Systems engineering and Safety assurance including but not limited to:

Safety Assurance

Systems Engineering

Requirements Management

System Architecture development

Goal Structured Notation

Systems Integration

Human Factors

RAM

Develop Safety Case Reports, Assurance plans, Hazard/Safety Analyses,

Conduct requirements verification and develop test cases and procedures.

Assist in Tender preparation

Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards incl.

EN 50126/8/9

ISO 15288

or;

AS61508

Confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders including operators, government, contractors


 

Required Experience

Bachelors Engineering – Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Civil or similar 2 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role, working primarily on passenger rail projects AROs or Transport operators such as QR, TMR, TfNSW, Sydney Trains, ARTC, MTM etc Prior use of Requirements Management tools such as DOORS Classic or NG Commercial / Consultative acumen – confident in communication Basic understanding of Rail Safety National Law, EN5012x Basic knowledge of principles associated with the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook or iESM Handbook
